Strategy and the build, one operator.
Most consultancies either think strategically or build technically. I do both. I’ve held interim CTO and CPO chairs (most recently at MedKitDoc, a medical-device platform under EU MDR), spent four-and-a-half years across McKinsey Design and McKinsey Digital Labs, and I keep shipping open-source firmware in e-mobility through Librescoot. I also bring an operator’s read into PE and VC technical due diligence through a longstanding partnership. The strategic frame and the production codebase are the same conversation.
Two decades across industries and stacks.
E-commerce platforms going back to founder-only days, healthcare and SaMD under EU MDR, public-sector and federal-agency engagements through McKinsey Design and Digital Labs, B2B trade platforms, and connected-vehicle firmware. The throughline is hands-on technical work paired with executive-level strategy. I’ve built and shipped the same kinds of systems I now advise on, and I stay engaged through implementation rather than disappearing after the strategy is presented.
Senior, hands-on, few.
Mostly that’s me. Where the work calls for it, I bring in partners I trust rather than staffing up.
